PFAS-FREE CERAMIC COATING 

Ceramic coating is often used because of its excellent non-stick and sliding properties. The maximum operating temperature of this coating is 260 ºC. Ceramic coatings are harder and more wear-resistant than traditional PTFE (Teflon) coatings. This makes the coating extremely suitable for heavier loads. The layer thickness is around 25 – 55 µm. 

FOOD CERTIFICATION AND PFAS

Kersten coating technology’s ceramic coating is PFAS-free. The coating is food certified according to EU Regulation 2023/2006 and USA Food contact regulations (FDA 21 CFR §175.00) 

AREAS OF APPLICATION

Ideal for cleaning and cleaning sticky or viscous substances on slide plates, mixers, hoppers, etc. This leaves less residue, reducing the need for frequent cleaning. The coating is also highly suitable for non-stick applications on sealing plates. The result is a significant improvement in productivity and service life.
